Systems and Compliance Manager (Quality and Environment)Karina is the Systems and Compliance Manager – Quality and Environment for Domain Aged Care. Originally from a public and allied health background, she has been specialising for the past 8 years in the development and implementation of a broad range of risk management and quality based systems including Aged Care Standards Accreditation, EquIP and ISO 9000. Karina is an external Aged Care Standards auditor and has been closely involved in the development of policy and procedures and competency based training to support the roll out and sustainability of large corporate quality systems. Karina is a Registered Nurse and holds a BA in Community and Social Welfare. She is also an Accredited Workplace Health and Safety Officer and a Cert IV Workplace Assessor and Trainer. |

Building Projects Manager
John has been a senior manager in Aged Care for the past 17 years. His responsibilities have included facilities management, building projects design, development and construction management, procurement and business administration. Coming from an industrial background John developed extensive transferable technical skills which have been directed to establishing best practice aged care facilities management processes and a building projects management system to co-ordinate the development of projects valued at in excess of $350M. John has been involved with the master planning and has directed the development and equipping of 24 integrated aged care sites. He has extensive knowledge of Aged Care Certification and all aspects of aged care infrastructure, plant and equipment. John is a member of the Aged Care Queensland Architectural Committee. |

Business Development Manager
Joanne is the Business Development Manager for Domain Aged Care. She has over 30 years experience in the health and aged care sectors. Specialising in aged care for the past 10 years, Joanne has held senior operational management roles and has lectured in health and aged care related subjects at masters, graduate diploma and certificate levels. Joanne is responsible for policy implementation and business monitoring and improvement processes as well as Clinical Governance and reporting. Joanne is a Registered Nurse (Qld) and holds a Masters of Education, Diploma of Nurse Education, Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and is currently studying for a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing (Palliative Care for the Older Person). |

Human Resource Manager - Victoria
Irvin is the Human Resource Manager for Domain Aged Care in Victoria. He has 25 years experience in the human resources field encompassing human resources consulting, occupational health and safety strategy development and employee assistance program delivery and rehabilitation management. With a background in psychology, Irvin has specific interests in change management and organisational behaviour. He has been in private practice and has been employed as a psychologist in public health and in the not for profit health care sector. More recently Irvin has been involved in corporate services management specialising in strategic human resources for private aged care organisations. Irvin holds a BA in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Sciences and is an Honorary Director of the Mental Health Foundation (VIC). |

Resident Liaison Coordinator (Queensland) Dianne brings a wealth of experience gained over 10 years working in the aged care sector in a variety of administrative roles. Her specific expertise gained over this time is concentrated on the aged care admissions process and governance surrounding the receipt and management of resident bonds from low care and high care extra services. Dianne’s role is analysis driven but educative in nature and is focused on maintaining occupancy and promoting user pays issues to enable contribution to the capital needs of the organisation. |

Resident Liaison Manager Laurel has worked in finance related roles in the aged care sector for 20 years and has developed considerable expertise in bond negotiation and bond management. She has been at the forefront of introducing aged care clients to the favourable aspects of new bond legislation resulting in an “uncapped bond” approach. Her skills are well regarded by private enterprise operators as well as Regional Health Services who have realised the legitimate advantages of subsidising capital needs through user pays bonds. Laurel is adept at improving community perceptions and acceptance of the payment of bonds as a necessary entry path to an increasing proportion of aged care service streams. |

Workplace Health and Safety (National) Ian is the National Workplace Health and Safety Officer for Domain Aged Care. He originally came from the aviation industry during which time he was responsible for providing services to ensure the safety and timely response to emergencies of aircraft operating within Australia. He has over eight years experience in the Aged Care Industry, including maintenance of facilities, fit out of new facilities and extensive knowledge in the field of Workplace Health and Safety. He is a certified Workplace Health and Safety officer, Accredited OH&S Management Systems Auditor, Health Care Fire Officer and a Certificate IV Workplace Assessor and Trainer. He has also recently been certified as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator. |

Andrea is the Systems and Compliance Manager – Care and Lifestyle for Domain Aged Care. Andrea has over 28 years experience within community health, retirement living and all aged care sectors. For the majority of these years she has focussed on the aged care sector, occupying senior management and leadership roles, specialising in clinical governance, quality improvement and development, implementation and monitoring of quality based management systems. She also has extensive experience as a workplace educator, particularly in the training and development of aged care staff. Andrea is a Registered Nurse (Qld) and in Vic and holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. |

Management Systems Assistant
Patricia is the Management Systems Assistant for Domain Aged Care. She has over 20 years experience in the area of Aged Care, Disability Care and in a more recent role over the past five years in the area of Continence and Continence Management Systems. Within Domain, Patricia is responsible for Continence Management Systems and suppliers, I.T. Care System set-ups, Process documentation and management systems and training to our staff in these areas. Patricia is also involved in Special Projects for Domain Aged Care. Patricia is an Endorsed Enrolled nurse who comes to Domain Aged Care with the ability to effectively train in the areas of Continence Management, has completed Train the Trainer in Dementia Care and has Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace training. |
